700 new control units led to massive water savings
One U.S. based enzyme producer took this message to heart and followed the water. This led them to the decision to install 700 new control units to enable efficient burst-seat cleaning.
The result? After installation of the first 350 units, the annual savings amounted to 2,500 m3 of water along with reductions in energy use, emissions and consumption of cleaning agents.
“The idea of replacing all control units seemed like a major investment at first – but in fact we saw full payback in under six months”, says Rene Stietz, Portfolio Manager, Hygienic Fluid Handling Optimization & Service.
