New condition monitoring for hygienic pumps

Introducing digitalization to your hygienic processes? There’s never been a better time to act – with the new Alfa Laval CM wireless condition monitor. Digital sensors keep track of vibration, temperature and total run-time – three of the most widely used parameters for detecting and diagnosing faults – on your rotating equipment.

How it works

Powering the easy-to-install and easy-to-use Alfa Laval CM are wireless digital sensors that send data safely and securely to nearby smartphones and smart tablets. An intuitive app makes it easy for maintenance engineers to identify deviations from benchmark performance and determine when the time is right to perform maintenance.

Smart predictive maintenance

Predictive maintenance minimizes unplanned downtime and maximizes plant efficiency, thereby lowering the total cost of ownership – not only for your rotating equipment but for your hygienic processing lines.

“The performance data and trend analysis provided by the CM supports informed maintenance decision-making,” says John Walker, Portfolio Manager, Pumps, Alfa Laval. “And that improves overall plant efficiency.”

What's in it for you?

• Ensures maximum equipment uptime and reliability
• Boosts plant efficiency
• Protects valuable equipment
• Increases worker safety
• Streamline maintenance costs

Initially the CM has been optimized for use with Alfa Laval SX and SRU positive displacement pumps and, with product adaptation, can monitor other rotating equipment such as agitators and mixers.

Get more value from your hygienic process lines by moving towards Industry 4.0 with the wireless Alfa Laval CM condition monitor.
